The NBA basketball league has announced that it has suspended all games from Thursday until further notice after a Utah Jazz player tested positive for the coronavirus.
The decision was made shortly before the game between Utah Jazz and Oklahoma Thunder. The match was scheduled to be played on Wednesday night.
"The NBA will use this period to decide the next steps to move forward regarding the coronavirus pandemic," the NBA statement said.
The Utah Jazz - Oklahoma Thunder game was also suspended.
According to "ESPN" sources, the player who tested positive for coronavirus is Utah's French center, Rudy Gobert, Koha.net reports.

Players from teams the Utah Jazz have played against have been ordered into isolation.
This includes players and staff from the Cleveland Cavaliers, New York Knicks, Boston Celtics, Detroit Pistons and Toronto Raptors.
Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban heard about the decision while Dallas was playing the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday night.
"I thought it was crazy. It can't be true. It's like in the movies. Unrealistic. It's not about basketball and money. It has come to a point where I think about families. We're making sure we're doing the right thing," Cuban said.
