Napoli has expressed interest in the services of center back Amir Rrahmani, who this season is shining in Serie A, at Verona.
The news was announced on Tuesday by "Gazzetta dello Sport". According to the newspaper, Napoli is targeting the transfer of Rrahman during the January transfer window, writes Koha Ditore. Napoli has already started negotiations with Verona, a team that has a contract with Rrahman until 2023.
The 25-year-old before the start of this edition was transferred to Verona from Dinamo Zagreb for 2.1 million euros in compensation.
The captain of Kosovo, Rrahmani, has shown good form and is among the most important players in Verona, which has returned this edition to the elite of Italian football. He has so far made 14 appearances for Verona in all competitions and is the undisputed starter.
Earlier, another team from Serie A, Lazio, showed interest in Rrahmani.
