Rexhepi sisters, guarantee for the future of Kosovo

Sara Rexhepi made two debuts with Kosovo this year. In the first campaign, she played for the representative together with her younger sister.

In the second, Sara was the only one, but in the not-too-distant future there could be three Rexhepi sisters in the Kosovo handball team, Koha Ditore writes today.

Sara (17), Rina (15) and Verona Rexhepi (13) are developing as handball players in Denmark. Their younger brother, 10-year-old Rinore, is also into sports, but not handball like the sisters. He is developing as a football player.

Two of the elder Rexhepi sisters, who are originally from Mitrovica, are developing as players at the Skanderborg Academy, which they say is arguably the best Academy in Denmark. Little Verona is still in the club of the city of Horsens, where the Rexhepi family lives.

At the end of July and at the beginning of August, Sara and Rina Rexhepi played for the U-17 representative of Kosovo that appeared in the European Championship, Division B, in Skopje.
