Through an announcement on the official Facebook profile, the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports has published the list of federations, sports clubs and associations that have benefited from the Economic Revival Package.
"The final results of the beneficial project proposals of NGOs, in the field of sports", is the name of the document which lists those who have benefited from the 1.9 million euro fund of the Economic Revival Package provided for sports.
There are a total of 234 beneficiaries, MKRS announced.
Most of the sports clubs have been allocated three thousand euros, but this amount has been multiplied for some beneficiaries. Some projects have even been supported, about which the public knows very little.
The biggest beneficiary of the Economic Revival Package is the Kosovo Basketball Federation.

FBK has been allocated 150 euros for the project: "Establishment of the National Basketball Center; The organization of the FIBA U16 European Challengers in Pristina and the Unique League".
A total of 134 euros have been allocated to the "Center for Health, Education and Inclusion Cohesion - Mitrovica". There are no records for this organization on Google or even on social networks. At least not with the name presented by MKRS. But this organization has been allocated a large part of the budget for Recovery. "Database of sports in Kosovo - DSK", is the project for which "Center for Health, Education and Inclusion Cohesion - Mitrovica" benefits over 740 thousand euros.
It has not been clarified what the economic revival has to do with the sports database.
A large amount has also been allocated to another organization. 50 thousand of this revival package went to "Pl4y International - Pristina". The project benefiting 50 thousand euros has no explanation at all. "Kosovo Players", he writes in the column of the name of the project.
There are projects and other profit organizations that are estimated to have little to do with the "revival" of sports. For example, 6,990 euros have been allocated to the veteran football club "Prizren Masters". This club already has around 7,000 euros available for the project "Football promotion by veterans of Prizren". Veteran competitions in each country are recreational and have little to do with promotion. But MKRS has accepted it as a project.
From the sports federations, handball also benefited very high, 90 thousand euros. This amount has been allocated for the project "qualifications for the 2023 world championship, first qualifying stage (Kosovo A - men)".
10 euros have been allocated to the darts federation, while 21 euros have been allocated to the women's football club, Mitrovica. 500 thousand euros have been allocated to the Table Tennis Federation, while 10 thousand euros to the football club Drenica.
The Union of Prizren (men's basketball) is entitled to 20 thousand euros, according to the Commission's decision, while the Light of Gjilan (women's volleyball), 23 thousand euros. 10 euros have been allocated to the swimming club Prishtina, and the same figure belongs to the electronic sports club XPORTAL from Prishtina. The other two e-sports clubs receive 5,000 euros each.
25 thousand euros have been allocated to Sigal Prishtina, for participation in the Balkan League, which FBK does not present at all. Vushtrri (women's handball) was allocated 10 euros, while the Olympic Committee of Kosovo received 70 euros. So the umbrella organization owes half as much as the little-known organization that benefited from the database.
10 euros belong to the Federation of Saints, while 6,000 to the Golf Federation. The champion in futsal, Lake, has been allocated 37 thousand euros.

36 thousand euros have been allocated for the Judo Federation, namely one of its projects. 15 euros have been allocated to the Istog basketball club. 10 euros belong to the Kayaking Federation and 20 to the Wrestling, Athletics and Tennis Federation. Half less has been allocated for the Bowling Federation, while 15 thousand for the Muay Thai Sports Federation.
10 euros belong to the Triathlon Federation and 18 have been allocated, according to the decision, to the Volleyball Federation. The Boxing Federation has also been supported with 10 euros, and the Autosports Federation receives almost four times more (37). 18 are for the Aeronautical Federation, 32 for the Cycling Federation, 41 for the Karate Federation and 20 for the Sports Federation for the Blind. The Chess Federation was supported with 10 euros, while 32 are for the Scythian Federation.
Fully 24 have been allocated to the Prishtina ski club, while 18 to the STEP swimming club. The sum of 34 euros for the Prishtina basketball club (women), whose coach is Fidan Shatri, an official in the Department of Sports, is also noteworthy.
Another swimming club was allocated a lot of money - 21 thousand and 300 euros. It is about the H2O club, with the "Kosova Swimming" project. The not very clear list does not end there.
There were public comments that objected to the way this budget was allocated by MKRS.
Meanwhile, the Volleyball Federation has refused to sign the contract for support of 18 thousand euros. This was announced by Valon Nikqi, general secretary of FVK. In FVK they say that there is a conflict of interest of those who made the budget allocation.
"We have not signed it and have asked for this call to be canceled completely. We do not know what criteria were used to allocate the amounts. For us this is absurd", said Nikqi.
KOHA has learned that there are also clubs that are not active, that is, that are not part of the competitions, and that have benefited from this fund. This is considered a serious violation.
The contracts were signed on Friday afternoon, just before the end of the working hours.
