Manchester City footballer Benjamin Mendy will stand trial on eight counts of rape. He was also charged with an additional charge.
The latest rape allegation was only reported on Wednesday.
The France World Cup winner pleaded not guilty last month to the latest charge, which he was charged with on Wednesday.
27-year-old Mendy has also denied committing sexual assault and attempted rape.
All the accusations that have been made against him, have the footballer's house as an address, from October 2018 to August last year when he was suspended by City.
Mendy is expected to appear in court on July 27, along with the other accused, Louis Saha Matturie.
