Kevin Campbell predicts Granit Xhaka's time as an Arsenal player will soon be over. The Arsenal legend has said that Arsenal's midfield needs to be revamped. For "Football Insider", he evaluated Xhaka's performances in the 2021/2022 season.
But he added that Arsenal needs fast midfielders.
"I think we will soon see a parting of the ways. Look, Xhaka had a very good season. But at the end of the day, Arsenal didn't make it. The midfield needs to be renewed. There should be more speed and goals," Campbell said on Monday.
Xhaka has been part of Arsenal since 2016, while in the 2019/2020 season he was close to leaving after the conflict he had with the fans. The cause of the situation with the fans, Xhaka also lost the captain's armband.
