Leeds United has started negotiations with Juventus for the services of midfielder Weston McKennie, "Calciomercato" reported on Tuesday. It is learned that Leeds is aiming to transfer the American during this month and is ready to offer 40 million euros for his card.
McKennie is for sale as Juventus do not count on his services. The 24-year-old rejected a move to Aston Villa weeks ago, but Leeds appear determined to convince McKennie to move to the Premier League.
He has a contract with Juventus until 2025, while this season he scored three goals and made two assists in 21 appearances in all competitions. McKennie has been part of Juventus since 2020 when he joined from Schalke.
