The Kosovo Olympic Committee, at its next meeting held on Monday, has awarded scholarships to 10 young athletes, "Olympic Hope 2021".
These 10 athletes will receive scholarships worth 150 euros per month from the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, based on Regulation No. 03/2013 for the distribution of Scholarships for Olympic and Paralympic Hopes, reports KosovaPress.
There are two athletes from judo, karate, boxing and athletics on the list, while tennis and skiing have one each. In the selection of 28 applications from 13 federations, the results achieved in 2020 were taken into account, while the age limit was 15-21 years.
This is the list of 10 "Olympic Hope 2021" scholarship holders who will receive scholarships from MKRS: Erza Muminović (judo), Dardan Cena (judo), Betim Maliqi (karate), Albulena Gërvalla (karate), Alnera Brahimi (boxing), Remzo Mustafiq (boxing), Muhamet Ramadani (athletics), Alaudin Suma (athletics), Vesa Gjinaj (tennis), Drin Kokaj (skier).
