The multi-million transfer of Robin Olsen from the Copenhagen team to Roma has provided an unexpected "infusion" for a club in the lower divisions, where the goalkeeper of the Swedish representative took the first steps.
The team from Malmo, Bunkeflo FF, which competes in the eighth category of Sweden, usually has big financial problems, but thanks to the transfer of Olsen, they will get 60 euros, writes Reuters, broadcasts "Koha Ditore".
As one of the teams where Olsen played and developed as a youngster - Bunkeflos, based on solidarity payments according to FIFA rules, are due 60 euros. Olsen moved to Roma for 8.5 million euros, a sum that could rise to 12 million euros with bonuses. He will replace the Brazilian Alisson Becker who joined Liverpool for 75 million euros at the team from Serie A.
Five percent of the compensation paid by Roma to Copenhagen will be distributed among the clubs where Oslon has taken the first steps, including Bunkeflon. This reward is welcome for a club which generates its budget from free membership, local sponsors and the sale of hot dogs and coffees on match days.
