Midfielder Dijon Kameri has joined Salzburg's first team and has signed a contract until the summer of 2026, the Austrian club announced on Tuesday. The 18-year-old Kameri last season was part of FC Liefering, Salzburg's second team, and from the 2022/23 season he will be with the first team.
In fact, Kameri developed as a footballer in Salzburg's academy and is considered one of the club's most promising players.
With the shirt of FC Liefering, he had one goal and four assists in 22 appearances in the second division of Austria, while he was also part of the Salzburg team that appeared in the UEFA Youth League, where he reached the final of this competition.
