Montenegro scored very valuable victories on Sunday night. In Podgorica, Montenegro won 2:1 against Bulgaria, as part of the Euro 2024 qualifiers.
The winning goal was scored by Stevan Jovetiq in the 96th minute. In the extra minutes of the first half, Montenegro took a 1:0 advantage. Stefan Saviq was the director.
Bulgaria equalized at 1:1 in the 79th minute. The scorer was Preslav Borukov.
From the 59th minute, Montenegro played with one less player on the field. Igor Vujacic was sent off with a red card. The Bulgarians then missed a penalty.
Driton Camaj played from the 76th minute for Montenegro.
Montenegro already has eight points from five games in Group G. Bulgaria remains with just two points.
