A day before the match with Andorra, four football players of Kosovo Hopes received a positive result in the test for coronavirus. Kosovo U-21 played Andorra in Pristina on Tuesday and won 1:0. Of course, the players affected by the corona virus, Eris Abedini, Florjan Smakiqi, Lirim Kastrati and Kreshnik Hajrizi, did not appear.
Rafet Prekazi's players have already returned to the countries where they play, but the troubles for any of them have not ended. The virus seems to have circulated within the Shpresa team and other players are testing positive, KOHA writes.
On Friday, it was announced that two Kosovo U-21 players were infected with COVID-19. Servette of the Swiss Superliga has announced for Alban Ajdin, while Stromgodset of Norway for Kreshnik Krasniqi. Both started in the match against Andorra. Ajdini assisted Mirlind Daku's goal and performed very well.
"Servette took care to test all the players who were with their representatives. The testing was done before they joined the group. Alban Ajdini, returned from Hopes of Kosovo, tested positive and was immediately isolated. He had no contact with his teammates after his return," Servette announced.
Krasniqi has also avoided contact after returning to Norway. From the airport, he was immediately placed in a hotel room and had no contact with his family or teammates.
Due to the positive cases during the gathering in Pristina, some players, if not all, have been more cautious after returning to the countries where they play. This is at least likely with Krasniqi.
