The former striker of France, Florent Malouda, has learned via Twitter that he has been dismissed from his position in the coaching staff of the Swiss team FC Zuerich.
The Swiss Superliga club, in a statement published on Twitter on Thursday, said the decision was made jointly with Maloudan to end the collaboration, while the Frenchman was engaged two months ago to help train the strikers and players of young people in the club, Reuters writes, "Koha Ditore" broadcasts.
"It turns out that the other projects in which Florent Malouda remains involved do not fit with the tasks planned by Zuerichu", the club said.
But the former player of Chelsea and Lyon quickly replied to the club on Twitter: "Really, I didn't know that."
Malouda, who has played 80 games for France, ended his football career last year, playing for FC Differdangen in Luxembourg.
In 2017, Malouda broke FIFA rules by switching teams when he played for French Guiana, where he was born, in the Gold Cup against Honduras.

French Guiana was fined and the match, which they drew 0:0, was recorded with an official score of 3:0 in favor of Honduras. FIFA prohibits players from playing for two representatives, except in certain cases and with its permission.
French Guiana, a foreign department of France, has contested this, saying the rule should not apply as it is not a member of FIFA.
