Lorenzo Insigne will return to Italian football, "Gazzetta dello Sport" announced on Tuesday.
It is known that the winger has decided to leave the USA to return to Italy and is already considering the offers of clubs interested in him. Last summer, Insigne left Napoli as a free agent to join the Toronto team, but he has not been able to adapt to American football.
He has a contract with Toronto until 2026 and his card is valued at around 8 million euros.
In 20 appearances this season, Insigne has scored 5 goals and made 4 assists. He is being sought after by Lazio and Fiorentina, the teams who are targeting the transfer of the 32-year-old in the January transfer window.
