The former world champion with Germany, Sami Khedira, is a young footballer of Hertha Berlin. The German team on Monday night introduced Khediran as a new player. The 33-year-old has been transferred from Juventus, while he will keep the number 28 jersey.
Khedira returns to the Bundesliga after more than ten years. Until 2010 he played for Stuttgart and then for five years he was at Real Madrid. He has been playing for Juventus since 2015. Khedira has 77 caps for Germany.
"With Sami Khediran, we have a top player who has been in the biggest European teams. He will immediately help us with the experience gained playing in the Champions League, Serie A and La Liga," said Hertha's sporting director, Arne Friedrich.
"I feel very good physically and with the experience I have I will help Hertha for more sporting success", said Khedira.
