Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton has equaled Michael Schumacher's record for victories scored in this series of races. The Mercedes driver won the Eiffel Grand Prix today, marking the 91st victory of his Formula 1 career.
It is Hamilton's seventh victory this season, while he has a 69-point lead over Mercedes' Finn Valtteri Bottas with six races remaining in the season.
Hamilton is well on his way to equaling Schumacher's record for titles won as well. Schumacher had won seven titles during his career.
Max Verstappen of Red Bull came second in today's race, while Daniel Ricciardo of Renault came third. Valtteri Bottas for the first time this edition failed to finish a race.
