Pep Guardiola has extended his contract with Manchester City for another two years. The news was announced on the official website of the English champion club.
"I am happy that he will stay at Manchester City for two more years. Can't thank everyone at the club enough for believing in me. I am happy and comfortable here. I have everything I need to do my job in the best possible way," said Guardiola. "I still have the feeling that we can achieve more together and that's why I want to stay and keep fighting for trophies."
The old contracts expired at the end of the season. With the new contract, Guardiola will stay until 2025.
Guardiola has won 11 major trophies with City, including four of the last five editions of the Premier League.
In all competitions, he has won 271 of 374 games with City, a percentage of 72.4.
