On May 30 of last year, Keita Razak scored a goal that kept Gjilan in the Kosovo Superliga in football. Over a year later, Razak scored more goals for Gjilan's historic success - to secure their first participation in European competitions.
Gjilani played in the tie, while winning 1:0 against Besa i Peja. Razak scored the only goal in the 24th minute. This edition, Gjilani came out runner-up with 68 points, which was also collected by the champion, Drita. As runner-up, Gjilan will play in the Europa League qualifiers.
Keita Razaku, the 23-year-old from the Ivory Coast, scored the last two, and therefore decisive, goals.
On Sunday, he scored for the 1:0 victory over Flamurtari, with which Gjilan secured the second position. The second position would be mission impossible, if Razak, in the penultimate match against Balkan, did not score the equalizing goal (2:2) in the 95th minute.
Razak has also scored other goals this edition, some of them worth points. But the last two goals confirmed him as an important player for Gjilan, although he did not play for the team continuously during the championship. At one stage, he stayed on the bench.

In fact, Gjilan has players with a lot of experience, mainly from Albania, but also from other countries in the region. There was a lot of competition in the attack, and consequently, Razak "warmed the bench" for a while, although he scored a decisive goal last season.
Keita Razaku in Gjilan plays with his twin brother, Keita Aziz. They have been in Gjilan since February last year. Last year they left Gjilan for a while, but they returned again. Unlike Razak, who plays in the center of the attack, Azizi is activated in the midfield.
"It was God's will that we play in the European qualifiers. I thank God for making this possible. For my brother and for me it is very important that we will play in the Europa League qualifiers. It's a childhood dream come true", said Keita Razak for TIME, on Tuesday.
Razak said that his wish was to be declared champion with Gjilan. But he said that he accepts the second place and that now he will prepare for the qualifying matches in Europe.
"I am proud of the team, as we have a very good team. "My performances were not perfect, but not to be dismissed," added Razak.

Only one point for the champion in Gjilan
Regarding the time when he did not play, Razak says that it was the coach's decision. He respects the coach's choices. Coach Gentjan Mezani selected Razak for the last matches and he rewarded the trust.
"I am more than happy. It is important for morale, self-confidence and it is the wish of every striker to score decisive goals".
Humbly, Razak says that he cannot declare that he is a decisive player in the team. According to him, Gjilan has many good players in every position.
"When one is missing, another can compensate. I've done my job and that's normal. As long as I will be able to score goals that will help the club achieve its goals, I will do so without any hesitation," Razaku emphasized.
In fact, soccer players from Africa constantly play in Kosovo. But not everyone has the influence that the Razak brothers currently have in Gjilan. Gjilani has had many players from other countries in the composition. A mix of them with some local players brought success.

The Razak brothers have also played together in Ivory Coast, Saudi Arabia and Oman. The forward says it's their destiny to play together.
"Our contracts are coming to an end soon. We are now focused on the European matches and then we will see what God will decide for our future. I thank the president of Gjilan for everything he has done for us. I also thank the club staff, without forgetting the fans. Without their support, it would be impossible to achieve this success", Razak emphasized.
