The Kosovar heavyweight boxer, Arnold Gjergjaj, defended the WBF Intercontinental title on Saturday night in Basel.
Gjergjaj knocked out the Latvian Kristaps Zutis in the fourth round, thus scoring his 36th victory in professional boxing (27 KOs) against three losses.
Gjergjaj delivered a powerful right hand to Zutis, who was knocked unconscious for a few seconds.
For Zutis, it was the fourth loss in his career, against 7 wins and two draws.
Two other Albanian boxers also boxed in the pre-match. Abnor Jashari knocked out Latvian Ricards Zarins in the third round, scoring his third win in as many bouts. Shqijon Hoti won his fourth bout in professional boxing, defeating Bosnian Adel Kobilica by technical knockout in the fifth round.
