Gashi invites the stadium to be filled tomorrow for the Kosovo Super Cup

The Minister of Youth, Culture and Sports, Kujtim Gashi, in a press conference at the "Fadil Vokrri" stadium, called on all the citizens of Kosovo to fill this very stadium tomorrow, where the Kosovo Super Cup match will take place.

Minister Gashi was pleased that the wait for a modern stadium in Pristina was finally over, thanking all the participants in carrying out the works for this stadium.

"We have come to this last moment, to this historical moment for all sports in Kosovo, especially for football, sportsmen and fans of all of Kosovo. So tomorrow we will celebrate one of the most important sports events in Kosovo. For the first time, we will play in one of the stadiums that meets UEFA's criteria, and this is an emotional as well as a proud moment for all of us who have been involved in this process," said Gashi, reports kp.

Minister Gashi did not forget to thank the Kosovo football legend Fadil Vokrri, whose name the stadium bears, he described Fadil Vokrri as the most deserving man for this stadium.

"Once again, I want to express my emotions and great thanks to the former football player, the football legend of Kosovo, the late Fadil Vokrrin, whose name this stadium now bears, who has been very dedicated in the last months around investments, where we have been together several times in this stadium and I believe that perhaps if there is an individual who should be thanked in Kosovo for this work, it is precisely the late Fadil Vokrri", said Minister Gashi, among other things.

The minister added that very soon other investments are expected to be made in the Kosovar stadium, especially in the "Adem Jashari" stadium in Mitrovica, where the goal will be for this stadium to return to the stadiums of the fourth categories of UEFA.

Tomorrow's match between Drita and Pristina starts at 20:00.

UEFA members will also be present at this match, who are expected to give the final verdict about this stadium, which is expected to be positive, and finally, the Kosovo National Team will be able to play its home matches in September. "Fadil Vokrri" stadium in Pristina.
