Boxer Donjeta Sadiku convincingly won, 5:0, the first match in the first qualifying world tournament for the Olympic Games "Paris 2024".
Donjeta boxed on Tuesday at noon in the category up to 60 kilograms. Defeated Britain's Shona Whitwell.
"Donjeta boxed wonderfully in the three rounds and dominated the ring the entire time, giving the opponent strong and precise blows. Coach Marjola Sallauka is satisfied with the boxing shown by Donjeta Sadiku", wrote the Boxing Federation of Kosovo.
Donjeta needs a few more victories to secure the Olympic standard. In the category up to 60 kilograms, in the tournament in Busto Arsizio, Italy, three rates are divided. In the tournament in Italy, Kosovo is represented by two boxers. Bashkim Bajoku has already been eliminated, while Shpëtim Bajoku has not competed yet.
