The Football Federation of Kosovo has established a Task Force to combat collusion in Kosovar football.
The decision on the Task Force came out on Tuesday from the meeting of the Executive Committee of the FFK.
In recent weeks, there have been numerous accusations of rigging the results. On Sunday, Balkani, the leading club in the Superliga, also directly accused.
The FFK has admitted that recently "some bad phenomena have appeared in football, which the EC judges and fights".
The announcement states that the FFK is open to cooperation with anyone who has and provides facts for conspiracy. According to the announcement, "the bodies of the FFK will be treated with priority and care, and adequate measures will be taken based on the facts". The FFK is open to cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office and the investigation. He called for handling every statement of individuals who show suspicions of conspiracy and to take the appropriate measures to avoid these negative phenomena.
"But the FFK will not tolerate the efforts of individuals or different circles that for any reason damage or spoil the image and achievements of Kosovo's football. For them it will be strong to punish them in accordance with all available laws and normative acts. In this regard, the Executive Committee, in order to prevent these occurrences, has established the Task Force that will also be at the service of the National Council for the Prevention of Negative Occurrences in Sport", says the announcement of the FFK.
