Manchester City have expressed interest in Atletico Madrid defender Renan Lodi, The Telegraph reports on Friday.
Lodi, who plays on the left wing of the defense, is liked by the coach of City, Pep Guardiola, who is insisting on his transfer.
It is learned that City contacted the Spanish team and offered 30 million euros to convince them to release the Brazilian. The 24-year-old has been part of Atletico since 2019 and has a contract until 2025.
Last season, Lodi had four goals and as many assists in 40 appearances for Atletico in all competitions.
