Under normal conditions, Bernard Challandes would be analyzing the performances of Kosovo in the matches with North Macedonia and eventually with Georgia or Belarus.
But due to the coronavirus, the playoff matches for Euro 2020 have been postponed initially to June and now indefinitely. Those matches should have been played at the end of March.
The Kosovo selector, Challandes, is missing football, but the 68-year-old Swiss ace is not far from him. Challandes spends his days at his home in La Chaux-du-Milieu, Switzerland.
"Of course I miss football. But me and my family are fine. I'm only sorry that I can't see my grandchildren," Challandes told Aargauer Zeitung.
The Kosovo coach, who is highly regarded for his work with the "Dardans", has shown that he goes for a walk in the mountains and also works in the garden.

But football remains his priority. He is currently studying standard strokes. He is using the postponement of the matches to prepare even more.
"Now I have time to prepare the team even better for the playoffs. I am dealing with standard situations", Challandes said, reports Koha.net. He conveys his ideas to the footballers, with whom he keeps in touch by phone.
"It is not an easy situation in Kosovo", said Challandes, speaking about the pandemic, but also about the political developments in the country. "It would be much better if the national football team made people happy by qualifying for the European Championship."
Kosovo is two wins away from the European Championship. UEFA has not announced when the playoff matches will be played. But Challandes has an idea.
