The Balkan championships in volleyball continue to be very problematic for Kosovo. From Wednesday, the U21 Balkan Championship for volleyball players will be held in Brčko, Bosnia-Herzegovina. The Kosovo Volleyball Federation has planned to send the Kosovo Representative to this event, but this, however, will not happen.
The Kosovo delegation, which had to travel to Brčko, was not issued visas for entering Bosnia-Herzegovina. This was announced on Tuesday afternoon by the FVK.
The Kosovar Federation has assessed it as scandalous to remain outside the Balkans.
The Balkan Volleyball Association has been notified as well as the European Volleyball Federation. The FVK has requested that Bosnia-Herzegovina be given the right to organize the Balkan U21. But this is unlikely to happen.
The Kosovo U21 volleyball players have been gathering for a long time to prepare for the Balkans.

"We demand that measures be taken to cancel the race in Bosnia-Herzegovina. With the non-admission of Kosovo, one of the basic criteria has been broken, that of giving the opportunity for the participation of each country", writes in the letter that the president of the FVK, Bahri Gjinovci, has sent to the European Volleyball Federation.
The Olympic Committee of Kosovo has also reacted. But the situation will hardly change.
The Balkan Volleyball Association does not stand out for its decent attitude towards Kosovo. In the Balkan events in sand volleyball, the competitors of Serbia repeatedly give up the confrontation with the competitors of Kosovo. And this unsportsmanlike action passes without any measure from the Balkan Association. This summer there have been many such cases.
The Balkan Association has announced the holding of the U21 Balkan Championship for volleyball players. He did not mention Kosovo at all. He announced that the participating representatives are from Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia and Turkey.
Serbia's participation may be the crux of the problem.
The Serbs of Bosnia-Herzegovina block almost everything related to Kosovo.
"The visas were not issued to us on the grounds that a letter from the district of Brçko is missing. They reasoned that those in charge are on annual leave. He has aimed for the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina to be currently run by Serbs, and even the Federation has not had the will to make a solution for us. That's how we were left without visas and without participation in the Balkans", Valon Nikqi, general secretary of the Kosovo Volleyball Federation, told KOĖN.
