The U20 representative of Kosovo in basketball has closed the European Championship in Division B with a deep loss. On Sunday, Kosovo was defeated by Georgia with the numbers 116:79 in the match for the 11th place.
With this loss, Kosovo finished this European Championship held in Tbilisi, Georgia, in 12th position. In total, Kosovo has played six matches in this European tournament, recording only two wins against four losses.
In the duel against Georgia, Kosovo did not win any of the four quarters. Bardh Istrefi with 21 points and 12 rebounds was the most outstanding in Kosovo.
Meanwhile, double digit points were recorded by Don Polloshka and Donat Rexhepi, who scored 14 points each, but could not avoid the deep defeat. Nikoloz Gaprindashvili was the most efficient in Georgia with 30 points scored.
