Balkani is the only team in Kosovo's football elite that has not lost in the current edition. It has the best attack in the league with 29 goals scored, as well as the best defense together with Drita, with nine goals conceded.
Balkan leads the table with 38 points from 14 games. He has ten points more than the opponent of the weekend, Llapi. The Llapjane team has played two more matches and is in third place.
On Saturday from 13:00 at the "Zahir Pajaziti" stadium in Podujevo, the Balkans will have a difficult match. This confrontation belongs to the 17th round of the Kosovo Super League.
Balkan, led by coach Ilir Daja, suffered its last defeat in the championship on March 12. Coincidentally, it was defeated in Podujevo.
Since then, Balkan has been in a streak of 25 games without defeat in the Superliga.

Winger Walid Hamidi knows that the Balkans must win this match. But it is clear that the match against Llapi is one of the most difficult.
"All matches are important. I hope we continue in this form that we are. Llapi has a good team. It will be important for us to get three more points. We still have two games less played", Hamidi said on Friday to KOĖN.
Hamidi was one of the best in the first match of the edition against Llapi.
At the end of September, Balkani in Suhareka defeated Llapi with the result 2:1.
Immediately after that victory, Hamidi also scored a goal in the historic victory in the Conference League against Dinamo Zagreb, 2:0. Balkani will play the next match against Dinamo next Thursday.
"The match against Dinamo Zagreb is the last chance to pass the group. We can achieve such success. In football, nothing is impossible", said Hamidi.
The 27-year-old Algerian has played in 16 games this season, while contributing two goals and one assist.
Hamidi hopes to contribute in the last match of the group stage of the Conference League.
The Balkans need a victory in Zagreb to hope for further qualification, but Viktoria Plzen should also do them a favor - to stop Kazakhstan's Astana.
Viktoria Plzen won Group C with 15 points. Dinamo has six points in second place, while Astana and Balkan have four points each in third and fourth place.
On Saturday, there are two more matches in the elite of Kosovar football.
Malisheva hosts Liri at the "Liman Gegaj" stadium, while Prishtina plays against Fushë Kosova at "Sami Kelmendi" in Lipjan.
The Gjilan - Drita derby will take place on Sunday on the synthetic grass field in Gjilan, while Feronikeli 74 hosts Dukagjini. In Gjilan, the local fans will be present in the central stand, while the number of Gjilan fans will be limited.
