Boxer Shpëtim Bajoku stopped on Saturday in the semifinals of the Balkan Championship in Albena, Bulgaria.
Bajok in the match of the category up to 67 kilograms, was defeated by the Ukrainian boxer, Yaroslav Mykhalushko.
In this Balkan Championship, Bajok won the first match against Serbian Semiz Aliçic. He was the better of him in all three rounds, delivering consistent blows.
There were a total of six boxers in the Bajok category.
Bajoku, a member of the Gollaku club, won bronze last year at the Mediterranean Games in Oran, Algeria, and thanks to that medal, he was chosen the best athlete in Kosovo for 2022, by the Kosovo Olympic Committee.
By reaching the semi-finals, Bajoku secures the bronze medal.
