Arda Turan confirmed on Monday that he has retired from active football at the age of 35.
Turan started his senior career at Galatasaray in 2004. He won the Turkish Super League and the Turkish Cup and Super Cup trophies.
In 2011 he joined Atletico Madrid and won the Europa League in 2012 and La Liga in 2014.
Turan moved to Barcelona in 2015 and won La Liga.
In addition to La Liga, with Barça he also won two King's Cups, a Spanish Super Cup, a Club World Cup and a European Super Cup.
Turan also made a career at Basaksehiri in Turkey.
