Striker Kemal Ademi joined German second division team SV Sandhausen on Tuesday.
Ademi initially suspended the contract with the Russian team, Khimki, based on a FIFA decision that allows foreign players in Russian clubs. After suspending the contract with the Russian club, Ademi has signed with Sandhausen for the current edition. At Sandhausen, they expressed their happiness that they secured the services of the tall attacker. Meanwhile, Ademi expects to be successful in the new team.
"I didn't have to think long when the agent told me about the offer from SVS. I was convinced in the first contact with the club leaders. I hope for good performances", said Ademi. Ademi played on loan at Paderborn last season.
In Khimki in 2021, he played 13 games and scored one goal. Earlier he was in Turkey at Fenerbahçe and Fatih Karagumruk. In Switzerland he played for Basel and Xamax, while in Germany for Hoffenheim. Adam is 26 years old.
