For the first time, Veternik becomes a Family Medicine Center

It was a common request of the residents to receive medical services in a center closer to their homes.

And although it was planned to open two years ago, the QMF in Veternik was inaugurated a month ago.

Radiological, mammographic, dental services, routine consultations and tests, citizens can now receive at this QMF.

It will cost one euro to do a blood hemoglobin analysis and six euros to heal a tooth.

According to the director of Health, Izet Sadiku, these prices are adjusted based on the administrative guide.

Although not many patients were seen, Sadiku says that there is interest from citizens to be checked at the QMF.

Despite the residents' voices that the center was not built in a suitable place, Sadiku declares that "Nekibe Kelmendi" street is the most frequented in the capital.

No less than 470 euros has cost the Municipality of Pristina for this project, which has been under construction for more than eight years.

This QMF is part of the big project, the construction of the capital's hospital, for which around 53 million euros have been allocated.
