The English language, part of the everyday life of Kosovar children

Since the beginning of the school cycle, the English language is taught in Kosovo schools.

According to the English teacher at the "Ismail Qemali" primary school in Prishtina, Afrore Rudari, the children, even though they are small, see this subject as very attractive and they can't wait to develop it.

Speaking the English language is now common, especially among young people, and even parents themselves are committed from an early age so that their children are constantly surrounded by this language.

Through the use of technology, children learn the language in street slang, and in school it properly.

According to the teacher, the English language can only be learned by following it at school, but additional courses are always welcome.

Bind Halili continues his studies in the 8th grade, he is one of the distinguished students in the English language, who showed interest in foreign words in the English language from an early age.

Bindi says that she often plays the role of translator when she travels abroad with her family.

According to the school psychologist, Trëndelina Krasniqi, learning two or more languages at an early age is not a burden for children, but parents should be careful to first teach them their mother tongue and then gradually increase the intensity of foreign words and new ones.

The use of English words is already part of the daily life of many children, through excessive exposure to social networks they manage to understand and speak the English language better than their native language, therefore psychology also says that the excessive presence of technology can be harmful of the children's future.
