Singer, Wiz Khalifa, has been arrested after smoking cannabis while performing on stage at a concert in Romania.
He performed at the "Beach Please" festival on Saturday. Several images of the singer smoking cannabis have been shared on social networks, writes the Hollywood Reporter.
Through a press statement from the authorities, it has been confirmed that an individual has been detained for illegal possession of narcotics.
"It was noticed that he, during a concert as part of a music festival that was held in Constanta, Romania, possessed more than 18 grams of cannabis, while on stage he smoked another amount in the form of an artisanal cigarette", it is stated in the statement of the authorities.
Meanwhile, Wiz has posted on social networks, after being released, saying that he had a great time and that he "didn't want to show disrespect when he lit the cannabis on stage".
"Last night's show was great. I didn't want to show disrespect to the Romanian state by lighting one on stage. They respected me and let me go. I'll be back soon, but without a big 'joint' next time", wrote Wiz on the social network "X".
