A photographer who worked for Megan Thee Stallion filed a lawsuit Tuesday against the rapper, alleging he was forced to be present while she was having sex, was fired shortly afterward, and was abused as an employee. her.

In the lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, photographer Emilio Garcia said that after a night out in 2022 in Ibiza, Spain, while he was in an SUV with the hip-hop artist, she had sexual intercourse with another woman in his presence. According to Garcia, he had no way to get out of the moving vehicle, AP reports.

The photographer claims in the lawsuit that he was "embarrassed, upset and offended during the whole ordeal".

Megan's lawyer, Alex Spiro, said she would sue the photographer.

"This is a statement by an employee, for money, without any claim of sexual harassment and with shameful accusations to embarrass him," said Spiro.

Garcia further claims in the lawsuit that Megan asked him to never discuss what she had seen, and that she scolded and shamed him.

The complaint also says that Garcia, who had already considered quitting because he was overworked and underpaid, in a hostile work environment aggravated by Megan's possessiveness and abusiveness, was misclassified as an independent contractor, but was treated as an exclusive employee.

According to the lawsuit, the photographer had raised these issues in a discussion with Megan, but was fired shortly after, after having worked for the rapper for four years. He has since filed a job discrimination complaint with the California Department of Civil Rights.

The lawsuit, first reported by NBC News, names as defendants Megan, whose legal name is Megan Pete, her companies Megan Thee Stallion Entertainment and Hot Girl Touring, and her management, Roc Nation.

Garcia is seeking financial damages, claiming he suffered both emotionally and physically as a result of his treatment at work, and being forced to watch the scene in the SUV.

Megan, 29, was previously embroiled in major legal drama as the shooting victim of rapper Tory Lanez. A jury had found that she had been shot in the legs on a street in the Hollywood Hills in 2020. She testified at the trial where jurors convicted Lanez of three felonies and a judge sentenced him to 10 years in prison.

Megan has since become one of hip-hop's biggest stars. She won a Grammy for Best New Artist in 2021, while she has collaborations with Beyoncé and Cardi B.
