Taylor Swift's new album The Tortured Poets Department appears to have leaked online, a day before its official release.

This has made her fans very excited, reports the BBC.

Many people have shared the songs on social networks, while many of them pointed out that they come from a link on Google Drive, which contains the complete list of the 17 songs of the album.

While some fans have been eagerly waiting for this to happen, others insisted that true fans will wait for the official release on Friday.

The American singer announced her 11th album during the "Grammy Awards" ceremony held in February. The album is her first collection of all-new material since her last album Midnights in October 2022.

The arrival of a new album has been highly anticipated by her fan community, as it means there will be new material to add to the star's successful Eras tour, which hits Europe this summer.

Midnights, which featured the tracks Anti-Hero, Bejeweled and Karma, also leaked online ahead of its release date. But the leak didn't hurt Swift's commercial prospects, and the album sold 1.6 million copies in its first week in the US.

With "Midnights," Swift managed to grab the award for album of the year at the Grammys, making the singer the first person to win the same award four times.

Earlier this month, Swift joined Elon Musk as one of the richest people in the world, according to a new rich list.

The pop star entered the Forbes list of the world's billionaires for the first time with a fortune of 1.1 billion dollars.
