Victoria Beckham's show is interrupted by animal activists

Victoria Beckham's show at Paris Fashion Week has been interrupted by animal rights activists who joined her models on the catwalk.

The group for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (Peta) said the move was a protest against the use of animal skin in the fashion industry in general.

The protesters were wearing t-shirts that read "Animals are not material".

Afterwards, Victoria took the stage and thanked the audience.

While her brand does not use fur or animal skin, Peta has said that some designs are made with them, the BBC wrote.

PETA activists are known for their protests at events and usually protest at fashion events.
