"BCD Travel Services BV&" is a company operating under the laws of the State of the Netherlands, established on March 10, 2006 with the address of the head office at Europalaan 300, 3526 KS Utrecht,
Netherlands and with registration number KVK 30213174 (hereinafter referred to as "the Company"). The company carries out its activity in the field of travel agency services and operates in over 100 countries, enjoying an excellent reputation and name at the global level.
According to public information in the audiovisual media, a company in Kosovo, registered under the name "BCD TRAVEL SH.PK" at the Business Registration Agency of Kosovo (ARBK) with unique identification number 811350561, with headquarters at the address Sheshi "Nëna Terezë", Pristina , is under investigation by the relevant bodies of Kosovo for the criminal offense of defrauding citizens by offering work visas, etc.
In relation to this situation, the Company informs the authorities and citizens of Kosovo, that the Company is not connected in any way and has nothing to do with the activity of the aforementioned Kosovar company and that the latter has misused the good name of the Company, in violation of the provisions of Law no. 06/L -016 "For commercial companies" and the legislation on industrial property in force in Kosovo.
Through this press release, the Company informs the public and the authorities of Kosovo, such as ARBK, Office for Consumer Protection, Agency for Industrial Property, etc., that it does not have and has never had a presence in the Republic of Kosovo, and that it has never offered its services directly or through third parties in Kosovo. We want to clarify once again that no service offered in Kosovo under the name or logo of BCD Travel has anything to do with the services and activity of the Company or of the companies of the group to which the Company belongs.
Finally, the Company will address this issue to the relevant authorities of the Republic of Kosovo, in order to take all the necessary steps, in order to stop the unauthorized use of the Company's name in the country.
