The Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia, Aleksandar Vulin, said that the BRICS group of nations is an alternative and hope for Serbia, which, according to him, includes countries that "don't ask Serbia for anything and can offer more than what it itself requires".

BRICS is the group of countries that, among others, include Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Ethiopia, Iran, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates.

Vulin has said that he does not intend to compare BRICS with the European Union, but to show that there is an alternative for Serbia, which, as he said, he deeply believes is closer to the end than the beginning, reports N1.

"To become a member of BRICS, it is not necessary to adopt laws that were written outside the borders of our country, you do not have to hand over power to the NGO sector, you are not obliged to display the flag of Ukraine in your embassy or to legalize same-sex marriages," Vulin was quoted as saying.

"To become a member of BRICS, it is not necessary to impose sanctions on anyone or leave the management of your country's foreign policy to others," Vulin, who is in charge of improving cooperation, was quoted as saying. of Serbia with Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, which are BRICS member countries.
