Earthquakes were felt in the early hours of Monday in North Macedonia.

An earthquake measuring 3.4 on the Richter scale has struck near the Macedonian capital, Skopje.

The earthquake was recorded at a depth of about 10 kilometers and the epicenter was 14 kilometers from Studenican, the European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC) announced.

The earthquake was 23 kilometers east of the center of Skopje.
