Serbian students have set off on foot from Belgrade to Novi Sad with the slogan "One step away from justice".
They will stop at several points before reaching Novi Sad.
The students will cover 80 kilometers in the two-day march, Danas reported.
A second group of students will also depart from Belgrade on Friday, but on bicycles.
The aim is to block three bridges in Novi Sad on February 1, which marks three months since the collapse of a train station shelter in which 15 people died.

Interior Minister Ivica Dacic said that the ministry will secure the path for the students to walk. Traffic along their route will be stopped, and police, ambulances and water tankers will be positioned in front and behind the student column.
Protests in Serbia have been ongoing since November 1, when 15 people died. Since then, protesters have demanded that the authorities publish the full documentation on the station renovation, in order to determine criminal responsibility for the accident. They also demand the prosecution of all attackers of students and professors during the protests following the accident in Novi Sad.
