152 injured in disco fire in North Macedonia, 18 in critical condition

North Macedonia's Health Ministry has announced that 152 patients are being treated in hospitals across the country as a result of the fire that broke out at a discotheque in the city of Kocani in the early hours of Sunday. Of the injured, 18 are in critical condition. 

"The Ministry of Health assures the public that all resources are made available and no patient will be left without the necessary care. Saving lives and providing the best possible conditions for recovery for the injured remain our priority," The Ministry of Health's post on Facebook states. 

As a result of the fire, 51 people have been reported dead so far. The fire is said to have occurred after fireworks were set off at the disco, where there were approximately 1500 people. A concert by a well-known North Macedonian music group was being held at the disco.
