Did you know that every book is like a ticket to a new adventure, sending you to faraway places without ever leaving home? Well, this year, I again had the pleasure of visiting the Children's Book Fair in Pristina – for the second year in a row – and the experience was even more magical!
The Children's Book Fair is where all young readers who love books meet, celebrating the power and beauty of reading. This special arrangement became a feast for the imagination, a place where books and history come to life in every corner.
Every year, children have the opportunity to explore different types of books, from those with vivid and colorful illustrations to novels with stories full of action and mystery. This second edition had more titles, more activities, and more moments to share with new friends who love books as much as we do. It was like going on a treasure hunt, where each book was a jewel that brought you new worlds and unforgettable stories.
But why is reading so special? Because when you read, you not only travel through different places and times, but you also make new friends through the pages – characters that stay with you throughout your life. And this year, more than ever, children realized that reading is not only a quiet activity, but also a gateway to adventure, where you can become a detective, a superhero, or a brave explorer who descends into the depths of the oceans.
This year's fair also gave us the opportunity to collaborate and talk about the books we liked the most. We discussed stories that inspired us, our favorite characters, and got suggestions for new books to read during the year. It was a wonderful opportunity to share the love of books with others and make new friends.
And even though this second edition of the Children's Book Fair has already ended, the adventure does not end there. Books are always with us, waiting for us in the library or on our shelves, to start the next journey. So remember: every time you open a book, a new adventure begins.
