The main indicators that worsen the ecosystem of media and information are the money factor, the political factor and the narrative of Serbia towards Kosovo.
Professor Alban Zeneli categorized these three factors as the main catalysts of malformation. He made this assessment in the interview given for the show "Behind the Screens". This is the first show that deals with the information disorder in and around Kosovo, which is a production of the Hibrid.info fact-checking platform, with support from NDI.
According to Zenel, the first generator is money, where inaccurate content is generated to generate and increase web traffic, or even online advertising.
The second generator, according to him, is the internal political factor, who create inaccurate content in order to gain as much support as possible from the electorate in their political beliefs.
Meanwhile, the third generator is what the European Union calls non-Western propaganda, referring to Russia and China, but in the case of Kosovo, Zeneli added, we have the same propaganda that is being developed by Serbia for Kosovo.
"Serbia's general narrative about Kosovo has continuously produced disinformation", said Zeneli, in the interview for the show "Behind the Scenes", adding that Serbia's main goal for this is to keep the local Serbs out of the local institutions. of Kosovo.
