Dense fog turns New York into a city above the clouds

Descriptive Text

Dense fog enveloped the New York sky on Tuesday morning, making it appear as if the city was floating on clouds.

The phenomenon, known as "advection fog," formed as winds blew over the cold waters off Long Island. The winds then pushed the fog over the buildings which gave the fantastic views.

Footage of the city in the fog has been made public.
