Boxer Donjeta Sadiku has won convincingly in her first match at the World Cup being held in Brazil.

As part of the second round in the up to 60 kilogram category, Donjeta faced New Zealand boxer Jordan Wilson on Wednesday night.

The Kosovar boxer dominated from start to finish. In the first round, Wilson was counted out twice by the referee in the ring. After a strong blow from Donjeta, her opponent was counted out in the second round.

In the third round, many blows were exchanged, while Donjeta won by unanimous decision, 5:0.

Donjeta's next match will be against the Polish Aneta Elzbieta Rygielska.

Shpëtim Bajoku also boxed in Brazil, losing in his first bout in the 65 kilogram category.
