Master Kuka is awarded the main prize of the Sports Academy of Montenegro

Kosovo judo coach Driton Kuka has been awarded the highest award of the Sports Academy of Montenegro, the academic institution announced on Tuesday.

Kuka was honored for his successes in judo, namely the large number of medals he has won at the Olympic Games, World Championships, European Championships, and other events.

At the 24th International Conference held in Budva, the Sports Academy of Montenegro awarded the "Golden Plaque - Montenegrin Sports Academy Awards" to master Kuka.

The award was given for excellent results at the international level, the promotion of sports, and for excellence in sports work and coaching career. 

This award was received last year by Croatia's football coach, Zlatko Dalić.

The Academy of Montenegro has presented Kuka as one of the best judo coaches in the world and the coach who has created one of the most successful judo systems in Europe.

Since during the last Academy conference, Kuka was engaged in the European, the award will be presented to him at the next conference in Podgorica.

The Sports Academy of Montenegro is an institution for the advancement of sports science. The mission of this academy is to bring together researchers and sports professionals with the aim of advancing sports science.

Driton Kuka has won many individual awards, thanks to the peak successes with his judokas. He is a highly respected figure in both the International Judo Federation and the European Judo Union. In the two main judo institutions, he holds important positions related to the advancement of this sport.
