Albanian boxer Ermal Hadribeaj (22-0-1, 8 KOs) will fight Frenchman Bakary Samake (19-0, 11 KOs) in an eliminator for the WBC super welterweight world title on April 25 in Paris.
An official conference was held on Thursday to announce the big boxing night, which will be co-organized by Frank Warren and Francois Samake.
In case of victory, Hadribeaj will have the opportunity to box for the world title.
The WBC world champion is Sebastian Fundora. Fundora will defend his title on March 28 against Keith Thurman.
Hadribeaj posted a video on Facebook where he looks eye to eye with Samake.
Hadribeaj, 32, won the WBC International title in November 2022 and has defended it several times. He has also defeated former world champion, Mexican Carlos Molina, by stoppage, among others.
His last fight was in Tirana on November 23, where he defeated Colombian Placido Ramirez by unanimous decision in the fight for the WBC International title.
