Albanian boxer, Kristian Prenga, will challenge professional boxing star, Anthony Joshua.
Briton Joshua on Monday confirmed the fight with Prengë, which will take place on July 25 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Joshua is one of the most famous boxers of recent decades. And the fight with him will be a big opportunity for Prengë, the 35-year-old who lives in the US.
Prenga is from Albania, and in professional boxing he has 20 wins and one loss. All of his victories have come by knockout.
Joshua is a former heavyweight champion in professional boxing. He has 29 wins, 26 of them by stoppage, and four losses. He last fought on December 19 of last year, when he defeated YouTube star Jake Paul. On September 21, 2024, he suffered a defeat by Daniel Dubois. He has been defeated twice by Oleksandr Usyk and once by Andy Ruiz.
Everyone is expecting a fight between 36-year-old Joshua and fellow British star Tyson Fury. But first Joshua will box with Albanian Prenga.

"It's no secret that I've needed some time to consolidate and rebuild, to be ready to return to the ring. And today is the next step in that journey. I'm delighted to have reached an agreement for the July 25 fight in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. I can't wait to box and continue where I left off," Joshua said.
Prenga is not a well-known heavyweight boxer. Of course, Joshua will be the big favorite. But Prenga has spoken big words.
"Anthony Joshua is a great fighter, but he made a terrible mistake when he chose me as his opponent," Prenga stressed.
"It's a fight that changes everything in my life and his life. I know there are big plans behind this fight. I know they underestimate me. I'm happy about that. I will ruin their plans and shock the world this July in Saudi Arabia," the Albanian boxer added.

He suffered his only loss in 2017. Joey Dawejko is the most famous boxer Prenga has defeated. He last fought in February, when he won by knockout over Joe Jones.
Prenga was supposed to fight in June, but backed out after receiving a surprise offer to challenge the famous Brit. He is not ranked in any of the major versions of professional boxing. He has previously held a North American title. Of course, even in financial terms, the fight with Joshua, and in Saudi Arabia, will be very favorable for Prenga.
