Dubai has set another record, opening the deepest swimming pool in the world.
The city, known for the tallest skyscrapers in the world, has opened the 60-meter-deep pool, thus taking the record set so far by Poland, which has a pool over 45 meters deep.
The plunge pool in Dubai is filled with 14 million liters of fresh water, an amount similar to the water in an Olympic Games pool. The pool is at least four times larger than any other plunge pool in the world, writes CNN. Guinness has awarded it with the title "World's Deepest Diving Pool".
The newest creation in the famous city of the United Emirates will open to the public at the end of this year.
The water temperature in the pool is 30 degrees Celsius, which is a suitable temperature for wearing thin clothing while diving in it.
