Weighing nearly 300 kilograms, the Frenchman is taken out of the house by crane

Alain Panabiere, who weighs nearly 300 kilograms, was trapped on the first floor of his home in Perpignan, an area in Southwestern France.

Due to the weight, the 53-year-old could not move through the stairs. Since the fall of last year, he had been stuck at home, being taken care of by his brother for food and cleaning. Panabiere was sitting on the floor and reportedly broke his leg.

For this, the French authorities have reacted. Through an operation, they have organized 50 people, including the police, firefighters and medical teams using a crane to pull the "stuck", writes dailymail.

The 53-year-old managed to evacuate by placing himself in a bed specially prepared for his weight and was then taken to the hospital by special ambulance.

To take care of his health and the stability of the building, the authorities engaged metal poles for support and the residents of the neighborhood temporarily removed them.
